American Stroke Association

The American Stroke Association is the division of the American Heart Association that's solely focused on reducing disability and death from stroke through research, education, fundraising and advocacy. The American Heart Association created the American Stroke Association after many years of increasing emphasis on stroke. The American Heart Association spends more money on stroke research and programs than any other organization except the federal government.

American Stroke Association - Stroke Connection “Warmline”

The Stroke Family Support Network is a toll-free information and referral service offering free stroke support information to stroke survivors, caregivers, family members and healthcare professionals.  Many stroke support specialists responding to the calls are stroke survivors or caregivers themselves.

Call 1-888-4-STROKE (478-7653) and ask for the Stroke Family Support Network.

Brain Attack Coalition

The Brain Attack Coalition is a group of professional, voluntary and governmental entities dedicated to reducing the occurrence, disabilities and death associated with stroke.
